As you may know, your Dad’s handwriting is one of the first things that attracted me to him. I still remember Josie and I, looking at the logbook of the Listening Center, and FG, passing us, saying, “You won’t find anything interesting there.” But of course, we did.
So that, when we had this baby book, which he bought, I asked him to write the entries you see here. It was only later, when he was busy, that I wrote the other entries.
It was for me a source of sadness that as he got older, and his fingers stiffer, that his handwriting became a shadow of its former self.
Btw, my brother Tony also admired Den’s handwriting, such that he later wrote like Den did, print-style.
