How thankful am I for that last Christmas we (Rene, Remo, Vito and I –Vyan was just 6 months in the womb then) spent together with Dad! Of course, Mai, Bryn and Barbie were with him (Faye had left earlier, because she had hopsital duty). As usual, Dad was reluctant to travel far from home during the holidays, trying at the last minute to get out of the trip. I knew we would not regret having Dad in Virac, even if he had be be brought bodily, because as in trips to his in-laws in
